We partnered alongside the fine folks at renew.org to create this The Bible poster. As your family embarks on a new journey, join us in exploring how we can know the truth about God. Have you ever wondered how the 66 books of the Bible were gathered together to become our Bible? The process of figuring out which books belong in the Bible is called “canonization.” This is a big word, but it’s fascinating to learn about! The people in ancient times who decided what books would be in the Bible used certain standards to measure the books, asking questions like, “Does this book contain the teachings of the apostles?” and “Has this book been used by the churches from the very beginning?” Hang it up in your home as a way to continue conversation in your Real Life Theology Conversations journey.
